Between the Seen and Unseen

Most of what is real is invisible. Not hidden — simply beyond the range of ordinary attention. This work marks the boundary between the two. Dark at its summit, the surface descends into a field of barely-visible script — language that exists at the precise threshold of perception. You can almost read it. You cannot. And in that almost — in that suspended state between seeing and not seeing — something opens. The unseen does not lie beyond this work. It lies within the quality of attention the work creates in you.
