The Valley of Scent

The Valley of Scent reflects on memory as something invisible yet deeply present. Like a scent, memory has the ability to bring back a person, a place, or a moment without physically returning it. It exists in a space between past and present, presence and absence.

Within In Between The Lines, this work considers how memory often returns not as a complete image or story, but as a trace — a feeling, a fragment, a quiet reminder. These traces collapse time, allowing different moments to exist together within the same space of thought.

The work reflects on the quiet and unexpected ways memory travels through us, reappearing without warning, yet carrying entire worlds within it.
